Behind Closed Doors Custom Closets & Cabinetry | Artisan Interiors Group : Family Owned & American Made
As a locally owned American manufacturer, we design and build custom spaces that are made here at home with craftsmanship you can see, feel, and trust.
Family Built. American Made.
For more than 26 years, we have transformed thousands of homes and businesses across Delaware, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Baltimore, Washington DC, and the greater Philadelphia region. We are not a franchise and we are not importing cookie-cutter parts. We are a family-owned, American made company that believes your home deserves better than mass-produced cabinetry and fits all storage.
Crafted Locally. American Sourced.
Every project is produced in our own manufacturing facility through Artisan Interiors Group. We prioritize American sourced materials from trusted partners whenever possible, local production that reduces delays and protects quality, and hands on oversight at every stage from design through installation. Keeping work close to home lets us control the details and stand behind every piece that leaves our shop.
Custom Cabinetry in Real Wood and Laminates
The heart of our work is true custom cabinetry. Whether it is a primary closet, pantry, mudroom, library wall, media unit, or a full home of coordinated spaces, each project is built around your life. We work with real wood for warmth and longevity, premium laminates for modern aesthetics and durability, and carefully selected finishes and hardware that balance beauty and performance. Because we manufacture in-house, we are not limited to a narrow, imported catalog. If you have a specific look, finish, or challenge, we will source American-made materials to match your vision or engineer a custom solution that fits perfectly.
Vision Led Design for Every Room
Through Behind Closed Doors Custom Closets & Cabinetry, our designers plan for both form and function:
- Primary closets and dressing rooms
- Pantries, mudrooms, and laundry rooms
- Home offices, libraries, and media walls
- Guest spaces with wall beds for multipurpose rooms
- Light commercial and specialty interiors
